Hi I’m Daphne - the maker, dreamer, and hands behind Ortensia Atelier. Since I was nine years old, I’ve been creating with nothing but a crochet hook, a sewing machine, and a big imagination. My journey started with afternoons spent beside my grandma, learning the magic of handmade and filling each stitch with warmth, love, and stories.
Ortensia Atelier was born from lifelong passion and a simple dream: to share handmade pieces that bring joy, warmth, and a sense of connection. Whether it’s an accessory, something to brighten your space, or a thoughtful gift, everything I create is made with care, meaning, and heart.
The very first custom piece I made was for my cousin Elena when she was a baby. Seeing how something handmade could spark happiness inspired me to start sharing my work online as @ortensiaatelieruk. What began as a small personal project has grown into a space filled with creativity, connection, and purpose.
